Hi, I'm Haji.

Who Am I?

Hi! I’m a wife, mom of the fabulous 4, three girls and one boy (last two are twins!), and educator! Throughout my 10-year education career I have worked with children of all levels and different backgrounds. I have always been a life-long learner and wanted to help students not only in the classroom but also at home. Many parents have a difficult time helping their children and I wanted to create a site with resources to help them. My mission is simple-to empower all moms to realize they are their children’s first teacher!

Fun Facts About Me:

1. I MET MY HUSBAND ON THE STREET.

Yes, really. I was literally walking down the street in San Francisco, because everyone walks in The City, and we met. After another chance encounter, the rest was history. We've been happily married for over 9 years.

2. I WAS IN SHOCK WHEN I FOUND OUT I WAS HAVING TWINS.

I never thought I would have twins. NEVER! I didn't even realize that those 2 circles on the ultrasound were 2 babies. Go figure! And yes, I was super big. I gained 25 pounds for each baby (50+ in all) because I was on bedrest for over 100 days and chugged Boost High Protein drinks like they were water. Each baby weighed over 6 lbs. as well.

3. I HAVE LIVED IN THE HOTTEST CITIES.

Well, I think they are hot. Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. I like new places and love to travel.

4. I WAS HOMESCHOOLED.

From 6th-10th grade, I was home-schooled. I finally convinced my mother that I should go to public high school. It was only for the last 2 years, so I don't have the warm and fuzzies about high school. It was so hard going to school as a junior.

5. I GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL.

Yup, I did. But it was a community college. In order to go to high school, my mom made me finish my classes at the community college to graduate. So I received my Associate's degree at 15. When I graduated from high school, and went to university I was a transfer student instead of a freshman. I then received my B.S. at 19, and my Master's at 21.

6. I LIKE CRAFTS, REALLY.

I love making things and creating stuff with my children. My goal is to learn how to sew my own clothes and decorate like Cake Boss.
