LETTER B — HOW TO USE IT
Print the Letter B tracing worksheet and have your child trace the uppercase B and lowercase b on the guided lines. Encourage them to start at the top and follow each line carefully, practicing the straight lines and curved strokes needed to form the letter correctly.
As your child traces, say the /b/ sound together and name simple words that begin with B, such as ball, bear, banana, and butterfly. This helps connect handwriting practice with letter recognition and beginning sounds.
For extra practice, have your child trace the letters with a crayon or marker, then try writing uppercase B and lowercase b independently. You can also ask them to find and circle the letter B in a favorite book or point to objects around the house that begin with the /b/ sound.
This worksheet works well for preschool, pre-K, and kindergarten learners at home, during small-group instruction, or as part of an alphabet learning center.
