LETTER F — HOW TO USE IT
Print the Letter F tracing worksheet and have your child trace the uppercase F and lowercase f on the guided lines. Encourage them to begin at the top and follow the strokes carefully, noticing how each letter is formed.
As your child traces, practice the /f/ sound together and name simple words that begin with F, such as fish, frog, fan, and feather. Encourage your child to repeat the words slowly and listen for the /f/ sound at the beginning.
For extra practice, have your child trace uppercase F and lowercase f with a finger before using a pencil or crayon. Then invite them to write both letters independently. You can also ask them to find the letter F in a favorite storybook or identify pictures of objects that begin with the /f/ sound.
This worksheet works well for preschool, pre-K, and kindergarten students practicing alphabet recognition, correct letter formation, and beginning sound identification.
