LETTER G — HOW TO USE IT
Print the Letter G tracing worksheet and have your child trace the uppercase G and lowercase g on the guided lines. Encourage them to follow the curved strokes slowly and pay attention to the different shapes of the uppercase and lowercase letters. Help them practice extending lowercase g below the writing line when needed.
As your child traces, practice the hard /g/ sound and name familiar words that begin with G, such as goat, grapes, garden, and gift. Saying each word aloud helps children connect the letter with its beginning sound.
For extra practice, have your child trace the letters several times before writing them independently. You can also place uppercase G and lowercase g alongside other letters and ask your child to identify the correct ones.
This worksheet is useful for preschool, pre-K, and kindergarten learners developing handwriting, letter recognition, and early phonics skills.
