LETTER N — HOW TO USE IT
Print the Letter N tracing worksheet and have your child trace the uppercase N and lowercase n on the guided lines. Encourage them to start at the top and follow each stroke carefully, practicing the straight and diagonal strokes of uppercase N and the rounded shape of lowercase n.
As your child traces, say the /n/ sound together and name simple words that begin with N, such as nest, nose, net, and necklace. Encourage your child to repeat each word and identify the beginning sound.
For extra practice, have your child trace uppercase N and lowercase n with a pencil or marker before trying to write them independently. You can also compare lowercase n with lowercase m and ask your child to identify how the letters are similar and different.
